  • The Local Lynx reserves the right to cancel a tour due to weather, safety, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, customers will be offered a full refund or rescheduling.


3. Health and Safety

  • Participants must inform us of any medical conditions or physical limitations prior to the tour.
  • You are responsible for assessing your own fitness level and limitations.
  • The Local Lynx reserves the right to refuse participation if we believe safety may be compromised.


4. Insurance

  • All guests are strongly encouraged to obtain personal travel and health insurance covering adventure activities and travel in Oman.
  • The Local Lynx accepts no liability for loss, theft, injury, or damage sustained during the trip unless caused by proven negligence.


5. Responsibility and Conduct

  • Guests are expected to respect local culture, wildlife, and environmental regulations.
  • We reserve the right to remove any participant from a tour without refund in the event of dangerous, illegal, or disruptive behavior.


6. Intellectual Property

  • All content on our website, including text, images, and logos, is the property of The Local Lynx and may not be reproduced without permission.


7. Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. Any disputes shall be settled in Omani courts.

I, the undersigned, understand and acknowledge that participation in outdoor and adventure tours involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Injury due to terrain, wildlife, weather, or transportation
  • Illness or accidents in remote areas
  • Equipment malfunction or human error


By signing up for a tour, I confirm that:

  • I am physically fit to participate in the chosen activity
  • I assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages
  • I release The Local Lynx, its guides, and partners from any claims or liability arising from participation
  • I agree to follow all instructions given by tour staff and comply with local laws


This waiver is binding on myself, my heirs, legal representatives, and assigns. I confirm that I have read and understood this agreement and that I voluntarily accept its terms.
